Mango Network unveils tokenomics, sets 10% for airdrops

CZ warns about security of crypto information websites
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former CEO of crypto exchange Binance, cautioned via X that hackers have been recently targeting cryptocurrency information websites. CZ reminds users to beware of authorizing wallet connections to these sites. Malware was planted on CoinMarketCap two days ago, and today, Cointelegraph's front end was attacked. As per on-chain analysis, 39 victims have lost $18,570 in total in the case of CoinMarketCap, CZ stated.

Japan's Metaplanet adds 1,111 BTC, total now 11,111
Metaplanet, a publicly listed Japanese firm known for its Bitcoin (BTC) investments, announced on X that it has acquired an additional 1,111 BTC. With this latest acquisition, the company now holds a total of 11,111 BTC.

AGM Group avoids Nasdaq delisting after meeting price requirement
AGM Group Holdings, which develops crypto mining hardware, has avoided being delisted from the Nasdaq after raising its stock price above the required $1 minimum, according to a press release on GlobeNewswire. The company had previously received a warning from Nasdaq for falling below the listing standard. On June 18, Nasdaq informed AGM that it had met the conditions to remain listed, including lifting its share price by the June 16 deadline. The company must continue to meet Nasdaq’s other requirements through at least Sept. 29 to maintain its listing.

Argentina clears President Milei of ethics violation in LIBRA memecoin scandal
Argentina’s Anti-Corruption Office has ruled that President Javier Milei did not violate public ethics laws when he promoted the LIBRA memecoin, stating that his Feb. 14 post on X was made in a personal capacity and was not connected to government resources, according to Cryptonews. This comes after an Argentine federal judge ordered the freezing of assets related to LIBRA, following the token’s price collapse of more than 85%.

Bloomberg analyst expects memecoin ETF to launch by 2026
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas said in a June 7 post on X that there is a “really good chance” an actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) focused on memecoins will launch in the future, according to Cointelegraph. He expects several actively managed crypto ETFs to roll out by winter 2025, with a memecoin-only fund likely following in 2026. Balchunas explained that memecoins are a good fit for active management due to their high return volatility and limited analyst coverage.

Sui upgrades mainnet to version 1.49.2
Layer-1 blockchain Sui (SUI) announced that it has successfully upgraded its mainnet to version 1.49.2, according to the project’s WeChat post. The update includes activation of ExecutionTimeEstimate mode, improved parsing logic for Nitro proofs and recovery of stolen funds.
