Tether reveals investments in over 120 companies
Tether has disclosed part of its investment portfolio, with over 120 companies receiving funding. Matrixport: Recent surge in Korea’s crypto volume primarily fueled by retail investors
In a recent post on X, crypto services provider Matrixport reported that the total crypto trading volume in South Korea has surged from $1 billion to $6 billion over the past two weeks, primarily propelled by strong engagement of retail investors. Simultaneously, Bitcoin open interest has also soared by around $6 billion, along with an increase in the annualized funding rate. This hints at the growth of aggressive leveraged long positions in the market, Matrixport highlighted.
While it is likely to see some short-term volatility, Matrixport expects the overall uptrend to continue with a number of key catalysts on the horizon, including the U.S. FOMC meeting scheduled for next week.
