Kraken announced it is onboarding tokenized stocks, called xStocks, to the Ethereum mainnet in partnership with Backed.

New York Stock Exchange-listed Cleancore Solutions (ZONE) announced it plans to raise $175 million through a Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) to invest in Dogecoin (DOGE). The proceeds will be used for a DOGE-focused treasury strategy. Following the announcement, ZONE's stock price has fallen 57.54% from the previous trading day to $2.90.

Nasdaq-listed Propan Biopharma (PPCB) has announced plans to purchase $100 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) over the next 12 months. The company stated the move is part of a policy to supplement its financial strategy alongside its existing business. CEO James Nathanielsz described ETH as a more versatile platform than Bitcoin, noting it is faster and more energy-efficient due to its transition to a proof-of-stake model. He also highlighted its tokenization feature as a key application for increasing asset accessibility.

Hong Kong-listed company Yunfeng Financial announced it has purchased 10,000 ETH, valued at $44 million. The company is a financial firm led by Jack Ma, the founder of Chinese tech giant Alibaba, according to Wu Blockchain.

An anonymous whale address starting with 0x0261 deposited 6,294 ETH, worth $27.56 million, to Bybit about 20 minutes ago, AmberCN reported. The address had withdrawn the same amount from Bybit one month ago at an average price of $3,779. A sale at current prices would net an estimated profit of $3.76 million.

AI blockchain startup Kite has raised $18 million in a funding round with participation from PayPal and General Catalyst, Unfolded reported.

The Bitcoin hashrate has surpassed one Zettahash (ZH/s) on a seven-day moving average basis for the first time in history, CoinDesk reported, citing data from Glassnode. One Zettahash is equivalent to 1,000 Exahash (EH/s). While the hashrate has briefly reached this level in the past, this is the first time it has been sustained on a seven-day moving average. The outlet added that due to the surge in hashrate, a significant upward adjustment is expected for the next mining difficulty.

Sharplink Gaming (Nasdaq: SBET), a Nasdaq-listed company that strategically invests in ETH, announced it has purchased an additional 39,008 ETH at an average price of $4,531. The company now holds a total of 837,230 ETH.

Nasdaq-listed company ETHZilla, which invests in Ethereum, announced plans to deposit $100 million worth of ETH into the Ethereum restaking protocol Ether.fi (ETHFI). The company currently holds 102,246 ETH, valued at $456 million.

Strategy announced it purchased an additional 4,048 BTC for $444 million last week, between Aug. 26 and Sept. 1. The company now holds a total of 636,505 BTC.
