Bitmain says it holds $9B in crypto and cash

The Nasdaq-listed Ethereum investor Bitmain (BMNR) announced that it currently holds a total of $8.98 billion in cryptocurrency and cash equivalents. The company's portfolio includes 1,866,974 ETH, 192 BTC, and $635 million in cash. This positions Bitmain's cryptocurrency assets as the second largest in the world, following Strategy (MSTR). Bitmain Chairman Tom Lee emphasized his view that ETH will become the most significant investment asset over the next 10 to 15 years.

Gemini files for IPO with SEC

U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini announced that it has submitted an application for an initial public offering (IPO) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The expected offering price per share is between $17 and $19 under the ticker GEMI. The IPO will be underwritten by Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Cantor Fitzgerald. Gemini and its existing shareholders will also be given an option to purchase additional shares within 30 days.

Ether Machine secures $654M ETH investment from early Ethereum investor

A wallet address believed to belong to crypto influencer DonAlt deposited 12.97 million WLFI, worth $3.2 million, to Binance approximately two hours ago, according to on-chain analyst ai_9684xtpa. The address reportedly acquired the tokens by investing 1,000 ETH, valued at $3.25 million at the time, in the second WLFI presale. A sale of the deposited tokens would result in an estimated profit of $2.555 million.
